In honour of
Glenn's long career and incredible achievements, we
present “The Glenn Shorrock Music Scholarship Awards” to
be awarded annually to talented young Australian Singer,
Songwriter, Musicians.
The
prestigious Glenn Shorrock Scholarship Award is open to
vocalist musicians and songwriters between the ages of 15-25
years (as at closing date of March 1, 2007). Secondary
and Music Students throughout the country are also
invited to take part.
Five finalists
will be flown to South Australia, the place where it all
began for Glenn. Final adjudication will take place on
Easter Monday 9 April, 2007 at “Lyndoch Uncorked” the
major concert event of the prestigious Barossa Vintage
Festival.
Finalists will
perform at “Lyndoch Uncorked” on an outdoor stage in
front of the Judges and a live audience of thousands.
Patron Glenn Shorrock will announce and present the
Scholarship award to the winner.
All Entrants
and Finalists receive a Certificate of Participation.
The Winner
will receive:

prize of $1000, and instrument to the value of
$1000

recording and production of a demo CD.
